Join Ruth from Studio Rua in our Crane St. Studio and learn how to make your own unique pendant necklace. 

Ruth creates all her designs by hand using wax as a starting point, working in the age-old technique of lost wax casting.

Ruth will talk you through the process of working in malleable wax to hand model a pendant of your own design, guiding you through some different techniques to try and how to work intuitively with the tools provided. The soft wax is the perfect medium for creating free, sculptural and personal designs.

At the end of the class your wax model will be cast in metal off site and sent back to you as a finished necklace, in either bronze or silver.
