A great way to support your houseplants! These crushed shells can be used both decoratively and practically. Mix into compost for improved drainage and soil aeration, which provides an effective barrier to prevent fungus gnat infestation.

They can also be used as a decorative top for potted plants, including succulents and cacti. 

By using the shells, you're making a dent in the estimated 5,000 tonnes of waste shells generated in the UK fishing industry every year. They're also a sustainably sourced byproduct from a family-run's seafood processing business on the west coast of Wales.

  • This is a natural product from the sea
  • The shells may occasionally hold on to some aroma due to their porous nature. This will normally disappear within a day or so of being exposed to the air and will not affect their performance.
